Restarting Together targets entrepreneurs and seeks to foster innovative projects to mitigate the effect of Covid-19 globally.
Twelve international organizations have announced the launch of Restarting Together, a global initiative that seeks to promote innovative projects to alleviate the impact of Covid-19. The partners in the program are Airbus BizLab, BASF, Boston Consulting Group, IDB Lab, CEMEX, Citi, Endeavor, IE University, IESE Business School, Microsoft for Startups, South Summit and Telefónica.
The program targets entrepreneurs and SMEs who want to contribute not only to a rapid post-pandemic economic recovery - with a focus on job creation, the reactivation of the business ecosystem and the creation of networks and financial support mechanisms - but also to the development of a more resilient society, capable of dealing effectively and sustainably with similar crises in the future.
The global initiative will receive applications until June 30 through the website www.restartingtogether.com. A jury will evaluate the projects presented based on their economic and social impact, viability, ease of implementation and level of sustainability and innovation.
On September 9, the nine most promising projects will participate in a digital Pitchday when they will be able to present their solution directly to representatives of the initiative’s partners, who will select three winning projects, and share their vision with global leaders of the organizations involved. The winners will have the possibility of obtaining funding from the partners and may even receive investment.
The partners will offer their experience and knowledge about different sectors as well as access to leading multinationals and, potentially, capital.
