At its annual general meeting, the company highlighted that Chile has «a solid institutional foundation» and that «there are significant opportunities to advance in a scenario that drives economic activity, investment and job creation.»

At 10:06 a.m., the Coca-Cola Embonor Annual General Meeting began, during which Chairman Andrés Vicuña reviewed the main 2025 milestones for the bottling company in Chile and Bolivia, according to Diario Financiero.
In his remarks to shareholders, Chairman Vicuña said 2025 was «marked by major challenges that we addressed with a solid business model» in Chile and Bolivia. In Chile, he highlighted the strong performance of the Vital and Benedictino water brands, which grew by 16%.
He added that, combined with single-serve packaging, «This has positioned our operation in Chile among the fastest-growing in the Coca-Cola system in Latin America.»
In Bolivia, however, Embonor observed a «complex scenario» marked by a 10% drop in revenue. Among the reasons, he explained, were «the deepening economic crisis evidenced by shortages of dollars and fuel, double-digit inflation, operational restrictions, coupled with social conflicts, work stoppages and strikes.»
2026 Projections
Looking ahead to 2026, Embonor announced an $80 million investment plan to strengthen production, logistics and commercial capabilities.
The firm’s Chief Executive Officer, Cristián Hohlberg, explained to DF that the funds will be directed toward «production capacity, purchases of returnable containers and the acquisition of refrigeration equipment.»
The investment complements initiatives in operational efficiency, digital transformation and sustainability, including the efficient use of water and energy. Regarding the impact of the conflict in the Middle East on the company, he stated that they are currently focused on the long term and particularly value «environments that provide stability, certainty and clear rules.»
Regarding the country’s situation, Hohlberg added that Chile has «a solid institutional foundation.»
«We believe there are significant opportunities to advance in a scenario that drives economic activity, investment and job creation. In that sense, we are optimistic about the conditions that will enable us to return to a more dynamic growth path.»
